On April 25, 2025, Centennial Bank reached an agreement to acquire The Bank of Jackson.

The resulting organization will hold approximately $1 billion in assets and operate fourteen full-service locations and three electronic branches. The Boards of Directors of both organizations have approved the transaction. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close by year-end 2025.  The headquarters for the combined bank will remain in Trezevant, TN.
